This idea wouldn't have worked 3 years ago. Here's what changed:

1. AI Transcription Got Good (and Cheap)

Whisper can transcribe conversational speech with near-perfect accuracy. It handles accents, filler words, and mumbling. And it costs fractions of a cent per minute.

The "voice to text" problem is solved.

2. Mobile Browsers Support Audio Natively

No app needed. The MediaRecorder API works in Safari and Chrome. Tap a link, grant mic permission, record. Done.

The distribution problem is solved.

3. Customers Expect Instant Everything

Nobody wants to create an account to leave feedback. Magic links, one-tap flows, zero friction—these are table stakes now.

The UX expectation problem is solved.

The opportunity: thousands of local businesses and online creators who know reviews matter but can't get customers to leave them.

We're not inventing new behavior. We're just making the existing behavior (talking) compatible with the existing need (reviews).
