Day 3: First Users

We soft-launched to a handful of businesses. Observations:

What worked: - The recording flow is genuinely simple. Zero support requests about how to leave a review. - AI cleanup is good—removes "um" and "uh" without losing voice. - QR codes for physical locations are a hit.

What needs work: - Settings page needs a website URL field - Some users wanted to see reviews on the capture page before recording - Embed needs a CTA button to leave a review

Metrics so far: - Recording completion rate: ~70% - Average recording length: 18 seconds - Reviews submitted after recording: ~85%

The drop-off is mostly mic permission denials on iOS. Working on better error handling.

Priorities for tomorrow: 1. Better onboarding flow for new businesses 2. Email notifications when reviews come in 3. More embed customization options

Building in public means shipping imperfect things and fixing them live. So far, the core thesis holds: people WILL talk when they won't type.
